Sayward Hill

H&R Exteriors successfully completed work on an impressive seven storey residential condominium building on Sayward Hill in 2019, working with Campbell Construction Ltd. The project featured a unique Cascadia Clip thermal clip, z-girt and wood insulation rainscreen system. Two coats of cementitious mortar coats were applied to provide a long lasting finish, followed by an acrylic stucco coat with medium texture for a classic yet modern look. This project was designed to be both energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing, providing residents with maximum comfort at an affordable price.

The rainscreen system works by creating an air gap between the internal structure of the building and the external wall cladding. This helps prevent water from entering the internal structure of the building while still allowing it to breathe and remain dry within. Additionally, the Cascadia Clip thermal clip works to provide superior insulation properties that will keep the living space warm in winter months and cool in summertime temperatures.
